Marlborough

Marlborough Fine Art was founded in London, England, in 1946 by Frank Lloyd and Harry Fischer. In 1963, a gallery was opened in Manhattan, New York, USA,on Madison. Avenue. Their early exhibitions were widely reviewed and by 1952 Marlborough was selling masterpieces of late 19th century including bronzes by Edgar Degas and paintings by Mary Cassatt, Paul Signac, Claude Monet, Camille Pissarro, Alfred Sisley, Auguste Renoir, and drawings by Constantin Guys and Vincent van Gogh.
